"Despite having monster swells on par with those that hit Hawaii’s legendary northern shores, Peru isn’t known as a surfing destination [...]"
The New York Times, Riding the Waves of Peru,
Julia Chaplin, 4 may 2008."
- THE WAVERIDING CONDITIONS

The Peruvian northshore hides some of the best wave spots on earth.
- Here are just a few names:
Chicama, the longest leftside wave of the world, the “Miss Universe”.
Cabo Blanco, shelter of Hemingway almost sixty years ago and a place of world-class tubular waves.
Lobitos where the long perfect waves regularly break on a surreal background of disused oil refinery.
The reputation of the waves in Northern Peru is second to none! Their abundance and quality is the result of an exceptional geographical situation: at the confluent of two ocean currents and at the edge of two hemispheres.
From May to December, constant wind wipes out that deserted and spectacular coastline. During this time, a unique combination searched by every waverider occurs almost undisrupted:
WIND AND WAVES!
MANCORA

We are based in Mancora in Northen Peru, very close to Ecuador. Endless summer, warm water, waves and gastronomy are the reasons why it recently became a chosen destination either for local or international tourists. Nevertheless, this former fishermen village is still hidden from many and is never overcrowded. The place remains pleasant all year around and offers the choice of partying every night or relaxing on a desert beach or on a “hamaca”. The ideal kitesurfing holidays !

- PURE PERU

Peru is a mystical place. It was once called “the country of extremes” because of its incredible diversity of natural ecosystems and landscapes.
No matter where people travel, either on the Amazonian jungle, in the desert or up the Andes Mountains, people are always awe-inspired by the heart-gripping nature and a deep-rooted Inca culture.
